A school assembly is a gathering of all or part of a school in order to communicate information and share learning experiences. This could be used to give out academic awards. Throughout China, each Monday, students gather outdoors before school. They stand in formation while the head master addresses them over a loud speaker system. This commonly lasts for nearly one hour. In Kabul, Afghanistan, national anthem is played during the morning assemblies every day and students may have to sing along. In England, the assembly is usually in the main hall, and is used to inform the whole of the school of notices, and to have "whole school" lessons. In primary schools in India and Pakistan, activities such as singing the national anthem, presenting a "thought for the day", reading regional language and English-language newspaper headlines, giving short talks on burning issues, and giving questions and answers related to general knowledge all take place in school assemblies. Each and every student is given the opportunity to address the assembly so that they may develop public speaking skills. ==See also== * Pre-work assembly 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「school assembly」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
